Splashtop Remote is an iPad app that helps you do that. This works for Windows laptops and desktops. NYTimes has a detailed report:

Splashtop Remote is an iPad app that pairs with a free Windows application to display your PC screen on your iPad, provided both are on the same wireless network. Splashtop is the name of a small quick-boot program that comes pre-installed on many PCs. You may know it as Lenovo Quick Start, Asus ExpressGate, or HP QuickWeb. Splashtop Remote is made by the same company, Device VM. The company, which employs hundreds of software engineers in the US, China and elsewhere to build, test and debug its wares, has a reputation for building small, fast, bug-free programs. Splashtop Remote is no exception.

I recently did a review comparing the new Splashtop Remote vs. TeamViewer. Splashtop won hands down!

With the ability to transfer audio onto my iPad it enables me to take advantage of so many more functions that it was the obvious remote app of choice for our business. That, coupled with full access to my MSOffice suite, including Outlook makes my day away from the office so much easier that I don’t know how I functioned without it.

Thanks for keeping us up-to-date on all things iPad. I look forward to more.

I’ve been reading about Splashtop Remote and I dare say this app brings me on the verge of making a plunge to buy an iPad.

But I’m wondering does it work for Parallel Desktop 6 for Mac as I am solely a Mac user?
